This month, we are focusing on the account management team, so you can get to know them a little better! There are 5 members of our account management team; Lucy, Danii, Rachael, Holli, and Emma (who is currently on maternity leave and has just given birth to a beautiful baby boy!)  The account managers dominate the centre of the office and tend to be the loudest in the room!

We spoke to Danii and Lucy about what their average day looks like:

“The day always gets going with a cup of tea, computers on and we get to work checking our emails.  Our morning will usually consist of a lot of admin, arranging despatches and placing purchase orders.  A lot of tea and coffee gets consumed during this time and sometimes we may even treat ourselves to a bacon butty from our lovely sandwich lady, Sharon.  The mornings fly by and once we are happy with our orders and deliveries we settle in for an afternoon looking after our brilliant customers queries, more admin, samples and various other bits and bobs.  Not forgetting lunch first!  Once 12:30 strikes, its lunch time and the menu usually consist of soup or Soba Noodles Classic Flavour!

We asked the team, which is your favourite day of the week?  To which they replied, Winnie Wednesdays of course! If you aren’t familiar with who Winnie is, she is now officially our office pup who spreads love and joy on a Wednesday to keep us all going!  OK technically she belongs to Danii, but she has a little piece of all of our hearts! Here are some pictures of cute ol’ Winnie!

Team Building

On Tuesday 28th November the account managers took part in a wreath making morning, for their team building.  Daniella tells us more about what they got up to:

“We started with a metal base and added our moss onto the frame to give us our first layer, we then started to arrange the foliage in layers securing them to the base with wire.  Once we had finished layering up the foliage, we added ribbons, cinnamon sticks, pinecones, and other pretty decorations evenly around the wreath to make them look beautiful!  We had such a lovely morning, spending time together out of the office, and it was really good fun bringing our wreaths to life.  We had lots of coffee and mince pies, and Kelly was a really great host!”

The wreath making allowed the account managers to express their creativity and add a personal touch to their Christmas decorations, while having lots of fun doing it!  This team building session was a real success and will definitely be on the agenda for next year!
