Tyler packaging is more than just a business, we are a family. We strive to build not only good working relationships, but friendships within our team, and are loyal to one another. When coming to work, we like to make the environment a happy place to be and recognise and reward success.
This month, thanks to our generous directors, the Tyler family celebrated with lunch at one of our favourite local restaurants to reward the team for their hard work over the year. This was a great opportunity to chat to one another outside of our working environment and get to know each other a little better.

Friendship and teamwork are so important to us here at Tyler, that we have now incorporated this into our company values. After re assessing these as a group, we collectively decided what matters most to us as a team and have updated some of our values to reflect this.
Teamwork & Friendship:
As an employee, customer, or supplier of Tyler Packaging, you are part of our family. It is important to us that we create a sense of community and belonging in the workplace. A positive working environment allows us to feel comfortable and happy at work which leads to commitment, loyalty, and productivity.
As well as getting to know each other outside of the workplace during our team lunch in Mid-May, we also took part in Mental Health Awareness Week 2023 within the same week. We took part in several activities such a colour therapy, wellness bingo, team yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises. Alongside this, we also created a ‘gratitude tree’ which was a fun way to allow us to thank each other and appreciate the people and things we feel lucky to have in our lives. The feedback from this week was extremely positive, with the team commenting that they felt relaxed and re energised, as well as a little sleepy! So, all in all this was a success, and these activities are something we will adopt as a group, as well as independently to commit to improve our own wellbeing moving forward.
It’s important that we take the time to make these opportunities and activities an integral part of our company culture. It gives us chance to step away from our desks and reflect, as well as connecting with each other on a more meaningful level and build on that all important trust we have at the heart of our Tyler Family.
As a team, we support each other’s mental health whole heartedly, and genuinely care about every individual within out Tyler family. This is what makes our workplace, and our relationships and friendships so special.
