As a team here at Tyler, we are heavily focused on sponsorships and charity donations that are close to our hearts. In sponsoring local children’s football teams, senior cricket teams or other sports related events, as a business, we are playing our part in giving back to our local community.
Over the last 4 months we have donated to charities such as Tommy’s, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Age UK and The Myton Hospices.
In time, we would like to extend this further by volunteering at our local schools, or planting trees with nearby environmental and biodiversity projects, so watch out for further blogs on this in the future!
On October 7th, The Myton Hospices held their annual Golf Day, and we were a headline sponsor for the second consecutive year.
The Myton team provide high quality, specialist care to people whose condition no longer responds to curative treatment, from diagnosis to death. By playing a small part where we can, we can help those patients and their loved ones receive the dignity and respect they deserve.
This charity golf event alone raised an incredible £15,000 which will go a huge way in helping those patients and their families while in the care of the Hospices.
